Banana is the favorite friut of many of us
I noticed I have been taking a few of them daily, in my smoothie drinks or bowls, with my vegan pancakes or just grab it from a super market in the street.
So that actually makes me thinking of doing a quick research and see if it’s okay to have that much of them in one day? Here is the result:
🍌Bananas are as delicious as they are convenient, but their nutritional value is what really makes them shine.
They’re a good source of several essential nutrients, including manganese, potassium, and vitamins C & B6. They are a healthy addition to almost any diet, but too much of any single food including bananas, could do more harm than good
There is no specific number of bananas that automatically makes them good or bad. It really depends on your unique calorie and nutrient needs.
That said, ONE to TWO Bananas per day would likely be considered a moderate intake for most healthy people
A medium-sized banana (118 grams) provides:
Calories: 105
Carbs: 27 grams
Fiber: 3 grams
Fat: 0.3 grams
Protein: 1 gram
Vitamin C: 17% of the Daily Value (DV)
Vitamin B6: 22% of the DV
Potassium: 12% of the DV
Manganese: 16% of the DV
Magnesium: 8% of the DV
